Philosphy

Software

I like to use open source, hosted on my own servers or self-written programs, which offers control, freedom and security as well as saving resources.
Regular software is mostly intuitive, since the setup and maintenance of server software is a bit more complex I refer to my wiki (on own risk).

Hardware

I like to use multi-functional and compatible devices.

Software

Core

A great mix of the linux kernel with artix and suckless configurations, for my phone i use termux.

Terminal

Zsh as shell and st for terminal usage.

Notes

Für notes/to-do/timetable nutze ich nvim + org-mode lässt sich maßlos zurecht schneidern und ist je nach Extensions für fast alles an Textdokumenten zu nutzen.

Browser

Als Browser surf mit ui-configs die nicht stören.

Books

Als Ebook Manager calibre und auf meinem phone KOReader. Lässt sich synchronisieren, hat ein dictionary-, wiki- und notizfunktionen.

Files

File Browser lf, eine lokale Datei-synchronisation mit Syncthing und für cloud rsync und als Cloud Storage via Nextcloud.

Editing

Für screenrecording OBS, für Video/Audio Editing KDEnlive und für advanced Audio Editing/Recording Audacity. Alle drei sind kostenlos, benutzerfreundlich und als Trio unentbehrlich.

Webserver

All of my (sub-)domains are hosted on Hetzner via Nginx, which is so easy to use you wouldnt believe it.

Connectivity

Virtual tel-number on the jabber network which also supports gateaways to sms, irc, matrix and more via variuos clients (i use weechat-xmpp).

Mailing

For my mailclient [[neomutt/emailwiz]] for contacts and calender caldav /calcurse.

Flipper Zero ist ein multi-tool device running FreeRTOS, kann als komprimierte alternative für NFC Karten verwendet werden.

Mit dem DJI Osmo Pocket 3 sind 4K60FPS für günstig möglich (closed source).

Router

Raspberry Pi 4B mit 4GB RAM running openWRT to function as a wifi router.

Dell XTBT01 Keybord which is easy portable and comes with bluetooth.
