I like to use open source, hosted on my own server or self-written programs, which offers control, freedom and security as well as saving resources. Client software is mostly intuitive, since the setup and maintenance of server software
is a bit more complex I refer to my wiki (no warranty).
For hardware I like to use multi-functional and compatible devices.
Thinkpad and custom PC are libre booted with coreboot.
KernelI use artix linux with the suckless core collection, for my phone i use basic android.
InterfaceFor my window system i use x11 on my ereader and cellphone termux:x11 and window manager dwm/dmenu (tiling).

BooksFor epub manipulation and ebook management i use calibre which has a wiki, translator and note-export function.
FilesAs my file browser i use lf, for local file sync i use syncthing and for cloud files rsync.
EditingThe Setup is OBS for recording, then KDEnlive for editing and finishing thumbnail with gimp.
LanguagesLanguage learning, blabla, goldendict as my dictionary and anki plus fcitx for asian character input.
WebserverAll of my (sub-)domains are hosted on debian servers via Nginx.
